He's been a world traveler for 5 years while running a business and going to the gym almost daily. Gym and health are an important part of productivity. It's all about balance. You don't need 2 hours per day, but you need enough to manage your health, do ENOUGH. One push-up is better than 0 push-ups. If you're going to travel while running a business, be mindful of your health... And if you screw up your health, you will lose productivity and your business will suffer. Another way to screw up your health is having a super high carb meal... ever tried working right after? It's HARD. -- So how do you recover from losing health and business momentum? How to regain the happiness level once you lose it? It's a common issue to face this loss of momentum... First, get a game plan: get back to the default situation where you can get back work out. If you rely on your own abilities to get sales and you're SICK, you are screwed. You're the one who's going to need to deliver, sick or not... It really pays to stay healthy. If you DO lose the momentum, get into it ASAP, small chunk it and then work your way up to your previous level. This loss of momentum can happen to anyone... Even celebrities. To get an object moving it takes a lot more force than keeping it moving. The sooner you can get back on the horse, the better. A lot of guys in that situation give up and they completely give up... That's why there's such a low success rate in business. We spend a lot of time crouched forward as entrepreneurs. What are some easy daily habits of success that contribute to counter acting this? 3 times per week resistance training is a MUST. Compound movements are a MUST to counteract at least some of the negative effects. You pretty much can get anything delivered these days to your place as an entrepreneur. When you start moving, all your body processes start going down. It's good to automate but balance it out with more physical activity. If you're not moving around, you're shifting out of the balanced state and your business will suffer. You need to find an hour to go work out, you need an hour for extra other activities. The funny thing is, if you sacrifice time to go to the gym, you will do the same amount of work as if you don't... It sounds weird but it works (tested). Another funny thing about working out; you will come up with better ideas. Shower, pool, gym, all places where real hustlers get their ideas. You need to take that break so your brain can start thinking in a creative way... You need to think in multiple dimensions, not just linear. A lot of guys who are doing creative work, we need rest to enhance creativity along with workout.
