U.S. Senator Mike Lee joined the Doug Wright Show to discuss the budget which was passed recently. This bill increases the deficit to over $1.5 trillion. Lee wants to reduce spending and not going to the massive debt which could cause issues for years to come.
Lee also talks about the Quill Project which is a groundbreaking new research platform that recreates in its entirety the original context of historic negotiated texts such as constitutions, treaties, and legislation. This project presents documents like the U.S. Constitution and how they were debated upon leading up to the final drafts. State constitutions are soon to be involved as well.
