US Close 26 June 17: US Mixed - we kick off the last week of the financial year today

US sharemarkets ended mixed on Friday. Gains in technology stocks offset weakness in financials. All banks passed the latest stress tests. Investors mulled whether the Senate would pass a bill to replace the Obamacare healthcare reforms. The Dow Jones fell by 2.5 points or less than 0.1% after trading in an 88-point range. The S&P 500 rose by 0.2% and the Nasdaq gained almost 29 points or 0.5%. Over the week the Dow rose by 0.1%, the S&P 500 rose by 0.2% and the Nasdaq lifted by 1.8%.
