On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories, Mike and Bennett are smokin and jokin with Jeff Adamec, Green Beret combat veteran, and host of “Changing Hearts and Minds”. Jeff is a veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces (Retired). He began his career of service as a medic in the 82nd Airborne Division before moving to be a Ranger Medic in 2nd Ranger Bn 75th Ranger Regt. In 1999 he was selected and welcomed into the US Army Special Forces, earning the billet of Special Forces Weapons Non-Commissioned Officer. Jeff has 6 combat tours in total. While serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Jeff would be awarded the Silver Star, 4 Bronze Stars, Army Commendation Medal with V device for Valor, and a Purple Heart. After 18 years of active duty, Jeff medically retired in 2013 as a Sergeant First Class. He spends his limited free time doing Veterans awareness and outreach through public speaking. Jeff lives in North Carolina with his wife of over twenty years and their two children.
