Claire is with out a doubt one of the best vegan chef's I have ever had the privilege of sampling food from. Claire's purpose is to support and motivate people looking to restore their health the natural way, using functional foods. She truly believes that we can all strive to achieve optimal health, wellness, nourishment & vitality in a natural and delicious way. From her personal experience, she has witnessed others and transformed herself, physically, emotionally and spiritually, through a whole-foods, plant-based diet. The healing benefits of these foods form the foundation of her beliefs of how we should be eating and living. In the kitchen Claire is always experimenting and challenging herself to create alchemical wonders. Many of her recipes harness the healing properties of herbs, Ayurvedic herbs & spice blends, raw foods, and alkalizing ingredients to create potent drinks, snacks, sweets and meals that deliver a multitude of benefits. Claire focuses on organic, seasonal, plant-based produce and draws much inspiration from ancient traditions like Ayurveda, Macrobiotics, cultured & fermented foods, as well as childhood nostalgia. Claire is highly experienced in preparing foods to adhere to personalized dietary sensitivities, particularly digestive disorders, and understands the important principal that food is medicine and therefore, one person’s food can be another’s poison. In saying this, she balances and adapts my cooking and preparations accordingly, always making the most suitable decisions for her clients special needs.
