10@9 Corruption in the Temple - February 23, 2025

This morning we look at the most successful fundraising campaign in Jewish history, and how it finally deteriorated into corruption. This is true of every individual and business, but especially true of every Jewish organization, that we must strive for not only honesty, integrity, and transparency, but also the appearance of honesty, integrity, and transparency. I am proud to say this is what ADATH strives for.

Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation.
