Dr. Jimmeka Anderson on "Tavis Smiley"

Dr. Jimmeka Anderson - National Media Literacy Leader, Ph.D and Founder of The Black Girls Film Camp and I AM not the MEdia, Inc. The BGFC features short films created by the girls and their production teams are showcased during virtual events, film festivals and college across the country throughout the year. She joins Tavis to discuss the importance of representation and diversity - particularly among women - in the media industry and to talk about the work she’s done in addressing those issues.
