Jurgis V. Oniunas is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee at Invera Private Equity Partners. He started his career at Ebasco Services Incorporated, one of the largest US engineering firms specializing in power generation and infrastructure projects, where he spent 15 years, reaching the position of Vice President of Business Development for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Jurgis then focused on entrepreneurship and gained another 15 years of experience identifying and developing emerging business opportunities throughout Central and Eastern Europe, before founding Ascendant Capital Advisors (today IMAP SEE) in 2003.
Jurgis holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the New York University, Stern School of Business, a Master's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Columbia University, Fu School of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
Fernando Cabos is Founder and Partner at Albia Capital Partners (IMAP Spain). He began his career at Andersen Management Business Consulting, taking part in strategy, corporate finance and consulting projects. He then joined Talde, a venture capital company, as Investment Manager. Fernando was a Director at the Iberdorla Group for 5 years, working for one of the commissions of the Board of Directors, supervising and providing advice on company sales operations as part of Iberdrola’s expansion strategy, as well as on the development of the group’s businesses.
In 2004, as a result of his entrepreneurial spirit, Fernando founded Albia Capital Partbers and sincethen, has taken part in many company sales operations. He is a member of the Board of Directors of various companies and has also been Executive Vice President of the venture capital management company Granville Private Equity Spain S.G.E.C.R., S.A., the company that managed the TEC PLUS III fund.
He has been a guest speaker and organised courses and seminars on company valuation and venture capital management of investments and businesses and has written numerous articles for specialized publications.
Fernando is a Graduate in Economic and Business Sciences, Financial Sciences and Insurance Actuary and CIA from the IIA in Florida.
