G+20, Activist Pushing for a Green future

Earlier this week the G20 were discussing the financial future of the world but a little further south was another conversation, contemplating the world’s environmental future. The Rio +20 conference started this past Wednesday and started off as a series of compromises on environmental goals for the sake of preserving economic gains. Some organizations have not taken so kindly to this decision, among them being Greenpeace. Here to grant some insight into the Greenpeace stance and elaborate on the activist perspective on Rio+20, we are being joined by Phil Kline, a senior ocean campaigner for Greenpeace, who is in Brazil coordinating a lot of the actions attempting to challenge the Rio consensus.
