Leave Room for the Mystery | Daily Homily August 31, 2026

In today’s homily, Fr. Luke Mary Fletcher, CFR reminds us that while our Catholic faith values reason and the intellect, we must also leave room for the mystery of God. We cannot reduce faith to only what makes sense to us.

Through the Gospel and the example of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, we are reminded that humility opens us to God’s plan. Sometimes pride and arrogance must die so that new life can rise.

Faith means trusting God even when we cannot fully understand.
