Kerri's son Harvey suffered a series of unfortunate events that led to having his licence suspended for nine months and a $1200 fee to free his car, which was impounded.
"He's always known as the point of call for his friends as he doesn't drink... he went to a party, waited for his mates in the car, they didn't come out," she told 6PR Afternoons host Jo McManus.
"The next minute a fight broke, police were called, the friends got in the car, they went to leave, and as they drove past, the police stopped him, and asked him why he was there... he explained, and in the same sentence he said 'but I need to leave because my licence is going to be suspended'."
