In this podcast, we discussed the Feudal Japanese, Cartoony, XBLA-turned-PC-and-iOS strategy game, Skulls of the Shogun. Attendees were Anthony, Chris, Dan, and Glorious. In this podcast, we mixed up the formula a little and let people work amongst themselves to find common ground. That resulted in two games being played, the iOS strategy game based on the boardgame, Lords of Waterdeep, and the side-scrolling rpg indie game, Mercenary Kings. Attendees were Anthony, Chris, new-attendee Dan, Glorious, Riki, Paul. Bonus HP was more Hearthstone and discussion of Assassin’s Creed 2:Revelations and AC3. Next month we are going back to the previous format and discussing Skulls of the Shogun. Paul has had that game in the wings for years, and now we’re finally going to take the opportunity to play it. In prepping for the eminent release of Tropico 5 I wanted to get people up to speed on the Tropico series and explore the last iteration of one of my favorite franchises of all time. In this podcast we discuss the kickstarter RPG Shadowrun Returns. This month we had a passionate discussion of this newest implementation of Shadowrun, how it met and failed to meet our expectations. Glorious and Riki were out this week for various reasons, but sent in their comments via e-mail.
