Jim and A.Ron have seen the latest episode of Mr. Robot, Forbidden. They discuss the perils of mutual partnership and what exactly is forbidden. Whiterose decides to deviate from the plan, and Elliot needs to find a new therapist. Don't worry, you'll only have to rewatch the first three seasons twice in order to get all of the references. Don't forget, someone is always listening.

Jim and A.Ron have only one question: who is the other one? Not really - they actually have too many questions because there is too much to dissect here! They also ponder what is in the box, what manipulation actually means between siblings, and the meaning of Christmas. Sam "Esmail" has promised us answers, let's hope "he" is true to "his" word. Hello, friend.  In the opening episode of season four of Mr. Robot, Jim and A.Ron have a lot to consider.  White Rose is always watching, and reminds everyone in her own way.  Angela is resolute in her decision to take White Rose down, Elliot and Mr. Robot try to get ahead of W.R., and Darlene is desperate to find Angela.  Jim also caught some easter eggs from one of his favorite movies, Jurassic Park.  Finally, we consider feedback from our listeners. 

Mr. Robot Season Four Preview

USA’s Mr. Robot wraps things up in a very unconventional and yet extremely satisfying way in the aptly named “shutdown -r”. That’s the console command to reboot a system, in case you didn’t know, and that’s pretty much what we have here, a complete return to the beginning, with Eliot having not much to show for it other than hard won knowledge of his true enemy. Will he be able to use it to fight the Prices, White Roses, and Dark Armies of the world?  Or will he be forced to accept Ms. Rose’

The latest episode of USA Network’s Mr. Robot, “eps3.8_stage3.torrent” manages to raise a lot of questions that we’re hoping to get at least some answers to for the finale next week. Has Elliot really managed to “own” the Dark Army, or is this an elaborate rope a dope once again by White Rose? Is Phillip Price really out of plays? Who’s driving the van that picks up the now super crazy Angela? Are Dom and Darlene secretly working together to out Santiago as Dark Army’s rat inside the FBI

USA Network’s Mr. Robot offers us a quieter, more introspective, but no less fascinating episode this week. A possible turning point for the series and our protagonist, as told through a meditation on suicide and death as seen through the lens of deletion. And if the material didn’t grab you, my god, the visuals. Sam goes all out and widens the scope to “Cinema” both literally and stylistically offering us one lush and well crafted scene after another.

Jim and A.Ron agree that this latest episode of USA Network’s Mr. Robot, “eps3.6_fredrick+tanya.chk”, was pretty good, but on little else beyond that. We are in violent disagreement over the direction of Angela and Tyrell, but that just makes for an exciting podcast where naked hostility seems to be lying in wait around every corner. But whether or not you think Tyrell is an actual human or if Angela is a horrifying baby person suddenly, there is a lot to discuss.

Jim and A.Ron are delighted with another suspenseful, well crafted episode of USA Network’s Mr. Robot, “eps3.5_kill-process.inc”. Great dialog, great, inventive action, solid acting and exceptional editing come together in one very satisfying package. We’re mid-season and these episodes feel like season finales! What will be coming in the weeks ahead?! Join us again next week to find out!

Jim and A.Ron were blown away by the latest real time “oner” episode of USA Network’s Mr. Robot, “eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00”. We think the technique was employed skillfully here, increasing the drama, tension, and immediacy. We’re also left with a lot of questions regarding the state of Stage 2, Angela’s relative hacking skills, the nature of Mr. Robot’s relationship with Elliot, and we’d love to know exactly what Darlene is up to, and how much of her plan the FBI has signed off on.
