Last Rant!

The Guys are full on rant.  Prolific criminals out and about causing the worst case scenario for a family and BFP is pissed!  Crime is too easy and they want accountability for judges who pass light sentences.  They touch on Trump's latest real estate offer and Ben tries out a new nick name for Trent!

What's going on in Venezuela?  Not snow removal.  An early report card on our town council.  And Happy Shout outs!  New year, new guys!  Nope!  Trent has a song for that.

AHS memorandum for St Paul Emergency room staff issue has the guys in a tiff ... until a listener gives them some reassurance that everything is okay!  It's the year end with some big thank yous and a quick cameo from Correspondent #1

The Baby it's cold outside slash Bill Cosby episode!  Federal NDP leader has a brilliant roast of his federal counter parts.  Not withstanding is becoming common phrase in the Alberta government.  Insurance in our province is criminal.  And once again, a few parents have ruined minor sports for kids.  This time it's basketball.  Happy shout outs as always.   Love BFP

The guys contemplate a name change for the show.  New councils are getting entrenched in their new mandate and amalgamation is already coming up.  Believe it or not the guys have some love for the provincial government.  And, the guys advocate for a championship parade in St. Paul.

The Guys weigh in on poppy bans in Canadian court rooms.  More limitations for local hospitals and It's been a while since they ripped on the local MLA.  The new town council gets baptized by Rant, and amongst happy shout outs, Ben and Trent share their thought of what Remembrance Day means to them.

The annual Halloween Spooktakular!  Teachers are back on the Job.  Ben and Trent take issue with how that's transpired.  a recap of our Municipal election and as always happy shout outs!

ATA Strike is in week 2, time to put opinions aside and hammer out a deal.  St Paul is looking at a sudden closer of a substantial institution.  And it's the home stretch for our municipal election.  The guys also give a huge shout out to St Paul's outgoing mayor Maureen Miller!

Alberta teachers are going on strike!  The guys aren't exactly on the same page for the whole situation.  Ben and Trent have been meeting with candidates for the upcoming municipal elections and share what they've learned.  Many shout out and be assured, no campaign signs were urinated on during this podcast.

The Guys have matching outfits for this one.  Thanks to the Watt Family coming up to the 5th Mason Watt Memorial Race this Saturday in Cold Lake.  The Guys share their thoughts about the Charlie Kirk assassination.  Lots to say coming into the last few days to send in nominations for the upcoming municipal election.  Plus happy shout outs!

Teachers strike, Book "bans", and golf course vandalism.  The guys have a full plate of rants to discuss along with community events and they continue the call out for candidates planning to run in the upcoming municipal election!

Don't go out in the woods!  Trent has a change of mind on a rural public transportation study.  Municipal elections are getting closer and we need to hear from more candidates and Ben explains why he has no remorse or regret from polishing off the family size bag of Mexican Chili Chips!

The "List" episode! Ben and Trent give their two bits on the Epstein List that apparently doesn't exist.  There's a new Party with an old name popping up in Alberta politics and the guys still want to know why the Town of St Paul, is seeking a line of credit.  Happy Shout outs and upcoming events!

Budget Breakdown.  Help the guys understand how these numbers add up!  Town and County release expenditures and revenues for 2025 that has Ben and Trent scratching their heads.  A logical rant for the most part with a sudden burst of anger near the end, but still they get it together for happy shout outs, all with a bit of time constraint!

The Guys celebrate 50 episodes while a 50 year old local Television institution that serves our area has suddenly been shut down without warning!  The County of St Paul has decided to stick to it's initial ruling to pull $30,000 of funding for the St Paul Library.  Ben challenges the integrity and possibly the overall intelligence of the members of The county council who supported that decision.  And Trent finally learns to pronounce the last name of one of our loyal listeners!

The Guys share their thoughts on the recent federal election and what might lay ahead for Alberta and western Canada.  We have a bit of a dust up at the local registries office because someone thinks they're more important than they are.  And the County of St Paul has Library funding on the agenda for it's next meeting May 13th!  Happy shout outs along with a Happy anniversary to a Guy and his Correspondent!

It's the $5.8 million dollar question with a $30 thousand dollar answer.  The Guys speculate why the County of St. Paul is threatening to pull $30 dollars in library funding that will essentially only affect the St Paul Municipal Public Library.  We're close to seeing a nurses strike and there's virtually no coverage on the negotiations.  It's a big weekend for Jr B hockey in St Paul and Ben gives a golden shout out to his kid! 

Trent feels Ben may have thrown him under the bus on his "other" podcast.  Lots to rant about on all levels of politics and a couple of local measles cases.  Huge shout outs to some local minor hockey teams and more community events piling up for April!

We have a Prime Minister we didn't elect!  Ben and Trent give their 2 cents on that.  A UCP MLA mentioned in the last podcast has paid the price for looking after his constituents.  Are Scott is doing okay lately but could still do better.  And a reminder, it's a municipal election year and people need to start thinking ahead.  It's the kinder, gentler rant for now!
