19-year-old Chris Bender made it big in 1991 with his 2nd album Draped. The 1st album of a $500,000, 7-album record deal with EastWest Records. Six months later he was tragically gunned down outside of his mother's house.
With his death, many speculated that his murder was due to a jilted lover. At the time his single Who Will I Choose, a song about choosing between two lovers was in heavy rotation on radio stations across the country and many believed one of the women he sang about killed him.
