Six months later he was tragically gunned down outside of his mother's house. With his death, many speculated that his murder was due to a jilted lover. At the time his single Who Will I Choose, a song about choosing between two lovers was in heavy rotation on radio stations across the country and many believed one of the women he sang about killed him.
