We’re back and have a lot to talk about this week after months since we recorded our last show. Golden State finally put us out of our misery. I’ll be honest, it gets pretty bad about 30 minutes in when we try to talk about games 4 and 5 against Golden State. But just skip about 15 minutes ahead and we get back to slightly more positive topics like the potential offseason moves we could make. Then we just sort of go off topic from there, but every now and then bring it back to something Rockets related.   Things we talked about: I can complain, the real NBA 2K16, less disappointing Houston Rockets seasons than this year (speaking of less disappointing Houston Rockets seasons, we learn that Ryan Bowen is a Nuggest assistant coach), was last year’s team a fraud?, games 4 and 5, potential coaching targets, potential free agent targets, Beasley is this year’s Von Wafer. Finally a win! This week we recorded a podcast the day after our first (and potentially only) post season victory to ensure that we would have something positive to talk about. And boy… did we have some positive things to talk about. We some how talked for like 30 minutes about the first two games that were both losses, so if you just want to skip over that to the Game 3 discussion that is fine with us. Things we talked about: How Curry’s injury has effected the series, Brewer starting game 1, Shaun Livingston, Playoff D-Mo, Harden’s game winner, the “Last two minute official report” and whether or not we got gifted game 3, Draymond Green’s MMA takedown, rant against the “Houston not celebrating Harden’s game winner” story, rant against Charles Barkley, TNT’s “Not neccessary” graphic.

This week we talk about Houston making the postseason. What our odds our against the Warriors. James Harden’s Western Conference Player of the Month award as well as his potential to get snubbed of an All-NBA team this season. We touch on the last two regular season games of the season and try to figure out why Josh Smith has suddenly been getting minutes. A lot of non-Rocket conversation too. We bring up Kobe’s 60 point game. Talk alot about the Warriors historic season. I think we bring up the Astros and the NHL for a little while as well. We recorded later than we anticipated we would, but I think we needed time to get over the disappointing losses to the Mavs and Suns (seriously, how could we lose to the Suns!?) … This is where I would talk about what we dicussed in the podcast. But honestly, I won’t blame you guys for skipping this one. I mean, we spend the majority of the time talking about how we had set ourselves up nicely to take the 6th seed after beating the Thunder… only to lose the next two games to weaker teams. We did discuss a few other things regarding the Rockets besides this recent slide out of the playoffs. A report from ESPN talking about how both Bickerstaff and Morey are both on the hot seat. How likely we are to bounce back next year. And Harden tying Moses Malone’s franchise record for 12 40 point games in a single season. This week, we actually have something positive to talk about for once. After being in 9th last week, we’re now tied for the 7th spot and in striking distance of Portland for the #6 seed. We also talk about: Yao Ming getting inducted into the Hall, the wins against the Raptors and Cavs, Micheal Beasley, Ty Lawson, Flagrant Hack a Howard, Lebron the Coach, and we sneak in some D’Angelo Russell talk in at the end.
