An unforeseen disaster rallies the nation to quickly close ranks and stand together as the country’s brightest mind, steeped in the "Can Do" spirit for which America is well know, work around the clock to overcome insurmountable odds.  Randy isn't talking about the COVID-19 pandemic spreading around the world right now.  This event happened 50 years ago this week. But Americans who met the challenge then, understood  from the start the meaning of the words, "failure is not an option."

How many times have you thought, "I can't believe they stopped making that... it was legendary, a one of a kind. "Well, on rare occasion, even the "Powers That Be" realize they've messed up when they shut something down and decide to bring it back. Who can forget when Coca-Cola stopped making the original Coke... only to later bend to public demand and bring it back? Well, Randy Wyles has just found out about another legend's return that thinks is right on target.

Traditions and festivities truly make Christmas a most festive and joyous season.  78 years ago, however, the atmosphere in December took on a very different feel.  After the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor, many wondered how America could be caught so off-guard and unprepared.  Randy talks with authors Robbyn Swan and Anthony Summers, who conduct a deeper investigation into what really occurred leading up to the attack in their book, A Matter of Honor.
