A European Sketchbook

You are listening to “A European Sketchbook”, a podcast dedicated to discovering European countries. We are Camille and Enora, two French volunteers for the European Solidarity Corps in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania. Here, surrounded by international volunteers, we realized that we don’t know much about our European neighbours. In each episode, we give the mic to one volunteer for them to tell us where they come from - we mean, really come from. Today we speak with Laia around a cup of tea. She is from Spain, but first of all, she is Catalonian. Catalonia is a Spanish region that has been asking for independence for a very long time. Laia will tell you more about that.
