Mark Armstrong, Artistic Director of The 24 Hour Plays

Ahead of the Release of Round 27 of The 24 Hour Plays Viral Musicals, we release our conversation with the Artistic Director of The 24 Hour Plays, Mark Armstrong, which took place earlier this year at the Region Five Conference of the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival. He discusses transforming his leadership and the vision of The 24 Hour Plays in the midst of a global pandemic by creating Viral Monologues featuring actors from a Broadway, film, and TV, and cultivating the Nationals Program into a more inclusive training grounds for emerging artists to meet future collaborators, and tells a slew of incredible stories such as actors performing on an ice sculpture in the American Airlines Theatre, and the importance of looking around you instead of looking up. #24hourplays #playwrightsofinstagram #director #artisticdirector #twittermemes #covid_19 #broadway #offbroadway #actor #brooklyn #noahgalvin #daveeddiggs #nyctheatre #nyctheater #theatre #theater #podcast #podcastlife #podcasts #podcastsofinstagram #theatrepodcast #americantheatre #actor #actors #actorlife #nycactors #nycactor #musicaltheatre #musical #hamilton #hamiltonmemes --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Updated
