Alexanda has recently joined Abt Associates as a program manager for the Partnership for Human Development Program in East Timor. She's from Canada and Ukraine, but has spent a large amount of time living in Africa, in countries that include: Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo and Kenya as well as in Australia and the South Pacific (Papua New Guinea). She initially went to Africa to see the desert, but she stayed because of the call of international development!
