Clay Wilson - Interdimensional Romance

Contours brings together New York–based producers and DJs Abby Echiverri and Clay Wilson for a four-track 12” on Acid Camp. The record moves across acid house and techno, unified by a clear craft for pressure, pacing, and machine-driven tracks, with moments of restraint that hold up far beyond the dancefloor. Wilson opens the A-side with “Interdimensional Romance,” a science fiction workout that threads together acid echoes of Chicago, Detroit, and New York. “Nightride” follows with a more laid-back approach, rooted in acid yet softer around the edges, with a subtle ’90s pull. On the B-side, Echiverri’s panned synths on “Chaos Terrain” vividly wax and wane across layers of LFOs. “Roche Lobe” closes the record in a more spacious mood—another acid-minded piece, less aimed at peak-time utility than at the late-night afterglow of the club. Together, the four tracks understand acid not as a fixed formula, but as a flexible language. These are the songs of the underground clubs on Arrakis. See you at the front of the speakers. Contours is released as a 12” on Acid Camp Records. Acid Camp Vol. 168 — Seung L

Follow @newpalm This mix is a live recording of my all vinyl, early afternoon set on the third and final day of Gradient Campout 2025. Gradient, a joint effort between New Palm and Printshop, is an annual DIY campout that takes place in late April in the high deserts of Southern California. It’s an excerpt from a 3 hour stretch of music that kicked the day off, with New Palm’s label head Spillman starting with an experimental set, leading into a b2b ambient section by the both of us, and finally into what you’ll hear in this mix. Gradient is a special place for me and all those involved, as it grew organically over the years from a gathering of like-minded friends, with a DIY-ethos at its core. Last year was particularly inspiring, as Gradient fully blossomed into what we hope to continue to build on. Gradient 2026 will take place on April 24-26, and I cannot wait! Tracklist : Lowtec - B1 (Workshop LD7) Tase - Come Back Linkwood - Coral Jon Doppler - Ciphertext Simic - Orbetello Kassem Mosse - A1 (Workshop 08) Felix Hk - Pyrenees Termiten - Nordhorn Kassem Mosse - Galaxy Series 5 STL - Ghostdrive RDMA - Rethink Skookum - Knees (Multipara Version) Brendon Moeller - Sitting Duck Progetto Tribale, Donato Dozzy - Vu Rhythm DJ Sotofett - Tribute To “Sore Fingers” Phil Kieran - Find Love (Andrew Weatherall Remix) Seung L is a Korean-born, US-raised house dancer and vinyl DJ with an ear for atmosphere and heady grooves. Having spent his formative years in LA’s warehouse scene in the 2000s, he has an equal affinity for house, techno, and ambient music, a breadth that informs his digging and mixing to this day. Seung is a cofounding member of the LA label & event series New Palm and a core member of Gradient Campout.

Acid Camp Vol. 167 — DJ Houseplants

Follow @djhouseplants Currently on his “Let Nature Nurture” Asia Tour, DJ Houseplants centers his concept of “Nurturing Bioacoustics” & conservation in all of the music he creates. With his natural affinity for all living systems, he loves to bring his signature sound of lush, hypnotic locked grooves to the dance floor. Inspired by my recent travels to Vietnam, this is an audio diary entry dedicated to the late acidic-drenched hours I spent cruising humid Saigon via moped. Waves of motorbikes moving through the streets like schools of anchovies, city lights illuminate and our minds melted, continue to hallucinate. Acid Camp Vol. 166 — NAYGOD

Follow @djnaygod This techno-leaning mix traces a journey that began on Halloween Day when I broke my phone and found myself moving through fear, frustration, and ultimately gratitude. This vinyl–digital hybrid session was stitched together with intention and a little chaos. The first half leans into the mood of the day—haunting textures, shadow-heavy percussion, and a kind of horror-cinematic tension. By the time you hit the halfway mark, the mix mutates: the 303s start screaming and what began as fear transforms into release. This mix includes Jenifa Mayanja, Titonton Duvanté, Underground Resistance, Boo Williams, Houz’Mon, K-Hand, and others who embody the continuum of Black dance music. This mix exemplifies the ways sound holds us through days that try to break us. Hope you feel it. Xoxo, NAYGOD

Shingo Suwa - Seishin (ACR017) [PREVIEWS]

“Seishin” is a focused, four-track EP from Fukushima-born, Berlin-based producer Shingo Suwa on Acid Camp. The title translates to “spirit,” and the record treats that idea as both a feeling and a relay: an original transmission from a time of quarantined isolation followed by responses from trusted collaborators. Clay Wilson contributes two versions: one a deep, tensile workout and the other a companion take sparked by the legacy of Jasen Loveland (1980–2021). Jasen Loveland also worked on a remix of his own in 2021. “Seishin” is not only about losing yourself—it is also about the resonance of spirit and memory, passed across friends, to find yourself again. “Seishin” arrives as a 12” EP in an edition of 100 on white/clear marble and 200 on black vinyl. The digital release includes a bonus remix from Remote Perception, another alias of Jasen Loveland. Acid Camp Vol. 164 — Scotia

Follow @scotia-xo This was recorded at home with some records I bought from Derek Plaslaiko, a few mp3s Kevin McHugh gave me, a bit of my own work, and some other prized tunes I've picked up along the way. I enjoy the interplay of crudity and liminal space in this music. When jointed together just right, it can paint a satisfying reflection of our world.

Jason ddb - Aurora (ACR016) [PREVIEWS]

This is the first solo release by drummer and producer Jason Ganberg of the duo, Deep Dark Blue. Recorded and produced in Yucca Valley and Los Angeles California between 2022-2024. After a lot of transition and change I wanted to write and create some music that encapsulated and wrapped up a certain time in my life. Some of these tracks started with me recording grooves in my practice space on my phone, and some from field recordings taken from trips in Mexico and Colombia. I didn’t want to set myself any boundaries stylistically so I let myself write in a free flowing way without judgement, tinkering with synth lines, bass parts, samples and grooves until things clicked for me. These are a collection of my favorite pieces during this process and I hope you enjoy this little journey as much as I did making it. - Jason Ganberg Written and produced by Jason Ganberg Mastered by Matt Parent

Acid Camp Vol. 161 — Spencer FM

Follow @spencerfm Spencer FM presents two hours of woozy, mind-warping disorientation, pulled from what witnesses describe as a six-hour basement séance that may or may not have triggered mild existential episodes. Listen as this Portland instigator blurs the line between left-field house abominations and dollar-bin minimal, leaving behind a trail of dazed dancers and broken dreams. Spencer FM is a DJ, producer, and promoter based in Portland, Oregon. He currently runs the Madrugada party series and record label. Prior to Madrugada, he founded Occasion, Orchard, and Canyon Vibration. In spring 2025, he released an EP on Madrugada that has seen support from the likes of Massimiliano Pagliara, Powder, nd_baumecker, and Skatebård, among others.

Acid Camp Vol. 159 — Ambrocenide

Follow @ambrocenide I’ve been trying to play my records out a lot more lately. For the longest time, I only played records — I’ve schlepped vinyl from Mexico City to Singapore and every in between. I’ve had my ups-and-downs in my DJ career, but lately I started getting booked for bigger gigs. The people I was opening for — HorsegiirL, VTSS, DJ Assault — were traveling into town and playing CDJs, so I really had focus on building my digital collection. It’s better for my back to show up with a thumb drive in my pocket. But vinyl just hits different. I love the glacial pace of taking the time to go through all my records, trying to find that perfect sequence (this one ended up being a bunch of dubby 303-drenched hypnotic mushroom techno). And then, in the moment, when it all falls apart, you have to let go and embrace the chaos. This mix was made off a pair of Technics long overdue for a tune-up and a cheap Pioneer mixer — natural feel steez. Tracklist Aural Float - Zwei G Evigt Mörker - Den Väldige BNJMN - Titan Dome Denham Audio - Cinnamon Vanilla KiNK - Disco Spectrum Astral Body - Pyschastenia Barbara Morgenstern - Aus Heiterem Himmel (Ellen Allien Remix) The Sci-Fi Witchdoctor - Kala Meridians Kan Shinomura - Left Behind softsoftcore - Meteor Shower Silver & Steel - Dreaming of Disco Valley Oxia & the Hacker - Last Test (Part I) Forest Witches - Delusional Clock ORBE - Motor Takaaki Itoh - Step to Makin’ Roza Ternezi - Cosmology Toneking - Pneu (Insider Remix) Henrik B - Det Är Tanken Som Räknas No Moon - Cobra Car Certain Tracks - Screaming Wata Igarashi - Kaleidescopic NYCO - Echelon Skee Mask - Vitamin 313

Acid Camp Vol. 158 — fleet.dreams

Follow @fleet_dreams This mix was recorded live during an All Night Long session at Mansions in Queens, NY on November 15th, 2024. Consisting of primarily vinyl selections ranging from dub tinged electronica, sultry progressive, percussive tech house, funky pumpers, deep techno & psychedelic electro. The room was electric, sweat dripping from swaying bodies. Thrilled to share a 2 hour section from one of my favorite sets in recent memory. I'll be releasing a new record "Limbs of a Lion" on April 4th, 2025 & celebrating with a release party going b2b with the inimitable Kiernan Laveaux. “Limbs of a Lion” arrives in a dazzling array of shimmering psychedelia, the newest offering on fleet.dreams’ own Vinezza records. Following “Echoes of Ego” his acclaimed inaugural 12”, “Limbs of a Lion” sees fleet.dreams’ artistry and form blossoming into realms of kaleidoscopic cadence & textural buoyancy. The production flows through a classically dubwise live analog mixing setup, new spheres of delays & echoes evolving fleet.dreams’ process to embody a unique & fully realized intersection of live instrumentation & dynamic synthesis. Follow @screendoor This mix is a snapshot of (mostly) current house, techno and electro sounds that DJ Screendoor showcases in decades-spanning marathon sets in the lush forests, mossy cabins, leftist clubs, antifa hotspots and natty wine bars of the Pacific Northwest underground electronic music scene. DJ Screendoor is a 25+ years multi-genre dj veteran, promoter, label runner and producer based out of Portland, OR but with early ties to the midwest 90s rave scene.  His label Disposable Commodities (est 2014)  is an anything goes techno/electronic outlet.
