Alex and Nick Film Podcast

This week we look at various upcoming releases, including Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln, Gangster Squad, and Les Miserables. Also, Alex gives us his review of Invictus.

Last week we discuss the upcoming sci-fi/action thriller Looper, which was released 2 days after we think it may have been released in the future. Oh, and we chat about the Hobbit.

The Alex and Nick Film Podcast returns to triumphant normality with a bumper episode, in which we review period love-fest Anna Karenina, gritty kill-fest Dredd, and twisty deceit-fest The Imposter. Also on the table are the recent showings from the Toronto Film Festival, a preview of Looper, and an anxious discussion on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Talking raccoons ahead...

In (probably) the last of the solo-summer podcasts, Nick talks us through 3 of the summer's bigger releases: The testosterone fueled Expendables sequel, the flash-tastic Ted, and the, erm, Meh Total Recall reboot.

In a long-delayed and long-awaited podcast, Alex heroically goes it alone as he reviews two of the summer's less conventional flicks: Cronenberg's financial odyssey 'Cosmopolis', and quirk-fest 'Moonrise Kingdom'.

The Dark Knight Rises at last. Fresh from opening night, Alex exchanges excitable opinions with celebrity guest star Max, as they discuss the year's biggest film.
