Jesse Gould is Founder and President of the Heroic Hearts Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pioneering psychedelic therapies for military veterans. After being deployed as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan three times, he founded the Heroic Hearts Project in 2017 to spearhead the acceptance and use of ayahuasca therapy as a means of addressing the current mental health crisis among veterans. The Heroic Hearts Project has raised over $350,000 in scholarships from donors including Dr. Bronner’s and partnered with the world’s leading ayahuasca treatment centers, as well as sponsoring psychiatric applications with the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Georgia. Jesse helps shape treatment programs and spreads awareness of plant medicine as a therapeutic method. He has spoken globally about psychedelics and mental health, and received accolades including being recognized as one of the Social Entrepreneurs To Watch For In 2020 by Cause Artist. Driven by a mission to help military veterans struggling with mental trauma, he is best known for his own inspiring battle with PTSD and his recovery through ayahuasca therapy. Michael Jay Hartman (born February 7, 1967) is an American former professional ice hockey player who played in 397 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 13 seasons the Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets, Tampa Bay Lightning, and New York Rangers. He was drafted in the seventh round, 131st overall, by the Sabres in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Hartman played Canadian junior hockey with the Belleville Bulls and North Bay Centennials of the Ontario Hockey League, where he compiled 102 points and 473 penalty minutes in 138 games. Hartman represented the United States at the 1987 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and appeared for the Sabres later that same year, as he amassed six points in 17 National Hockey League (NHL) games. In 1994, he was originally left off the Stanley Cup along with teammate Ed Olczyk because they did not play the 41 regular season games or 1 game in the finals. Rangers protested saying Hartman and Olczyk had missed time due injuries, and should be on the Stanley Cup. NHL agreed and later added their names. In 1995 he was inducted into the Michigan Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. On April 29, 2012 Hartman was inducted into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in a ceremony in Commack, N.Y

Selected 185th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft, Thomson also played for the Hartford Whalers, New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators, and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In total, Thomson played 115 regular season games, scoring 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points and collecting 416 penalty minutes. He also played one playoff game for the Los Angeles Kings during the 1992–93 NHL season. Jim Thomson is now the owner of a Junior “A” hockey Team, The Aurora Tigers. He is also a motivational speaker often invited to speak at schools across North America as part of his organization called Jim Thomson's "Dreams Do Come True". Thomson is also an ambassador, speaker and advisory board member for Your Life Counts.

All Over The Map - Episode 8 - Paxton Schulte

Schulte was drafted 124th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Quebec Nordiques and played one game for the team during the 1993–94 NHL season, spending much of his tenure in the American Hockey League with the Cornwall Aces. He was part of a blockbuster trade to the Calgary Flames for Vesa Viitakoski in 1996 and again played mostly in the AHL with the Saint John Flames. He did manage to play a second NHL game for Calgary in 1996–97. He moved to the United Kingdom in 1998, signing for the Bracknell Bees, winning the British Ice Hockey Superleague title in 2000. He then moved to the Belfast Giants for the 2000/2001 season and made a huge reputation with the team, winning the Superleague title in 2002 and the Playoff Championship in 2003 and gained a huge following with Giants fans for his toughness on the ice, but more so for his huge heart and presence off the ice. He returned to America in 2005, playing in the Central Hockey League for the Amarillo Gorillas and the Tulsa Oilers. He retired in 2006 and is currently spending time on his father's Beef and Buffalo farm in Onoway, Alberta, near Edmonton. He has 2 sons and a daughter.

Follow @ryanphillipswarrior on Instagram to stay up to date with new episodes. Dody Wood was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the third round, 45th overall, in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. He dressed for 106 NHL games with the San Jose Sharks before being traded to the New Jersey Devils on December 7, 1997. He was later assigned to the Albany River Rats for the remainder of the 97-98 season. In September 2000, he signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks. In his time with San Jose, Wood went toe-to-toe with popular enforcer Tie Domi. The fight occurred in Domi's final season with the Winnipeg Jets. Wood was considered a strong opponent against Domi. In fact, the brawl between the two was one of the few fights Domi had lost.[1] Wood was considered an enforcer as well. He participated in several fights throughout his professional career, these include fights with: Jim Paek (1993), Donald Brashear (1997), and Scott Walker (1997).

His hard style of play eventually took its toll and he decided to retire from playing in 2010 at the ripe age of 28 and committed to a life of healing, mental fitness and to the integration of different plant medicines in his recovery of post-concussion syndrome, PTSD and substance abuse issues. Riley embarked on a quest to use the sports platform to normalize and legitimize the use of all plant medicines and share his discoveries with the world. Cote is a co-founder of Athletes For Care, a 501 c3 non-profit that allows him to continue pursuing his passion using his past experiences to help others find safe, nontoxic ways to manage physical and emotional pain, as well as other mental health issues while guiding  them to understand the world of self-healing. Riley is an advisor and psychedelic integration coach for a psilocybin-assisted clinical immersion company called Wake Clinics. His focus is to connect athletes, first responders and military veterans to these psilocybin-assisted clinical immersions, while having a large focus on integration. Riley is also a partner in a hemp-derived CBD and functional mushroom recovery product line called BodyChek Wellness and is currently in the process of building out a hemp processing facility and soil to oil curriculum with a PA state university called Advanced Alchemy Labs. He was known as “The Rock”, acting primarily as an enforcer on these teams. His best-selling biography, The Story of The NHL's Unlikeliest Tough Guy, goes well beyond the stereotype of the tough guy. It is the story of a true humanitarian, an engaged citizen not only in his immediate community, but on the global stage as well. The son of Haitian immigrants, Georges Laraque campaigned for World Vision to help with Haitian relief and the rebuilding of the Grace Children’s Hospital in Port-au-Prince. Today, he is involved in many charities. An animal right activist and a spokesperson for PETA, he became a vegan in 2009 and has, ever since, contributed to the vegetarian movement in Montreal. A conscientious environmentalist, Georges Laraque stepped up in July 2010 to be the deputy leader of the Green Party. Since his retirement, Georges has been very active as a public speaker. He has been invited to hundreds of events across North America. He captivates and inspires his public by addressing current topics such as sports, motivation, racism, bullying, veganism, politics and charities.

He’s has player ambassadors involved such as Jason Dickinson (Dallas Stars), Nick Suzuki (Montreal Canadians), Isaac Ratclife (Philadelphia Flyers). Garrett has run different events such as 50/50’s, road hockey tournaments and was planning on a golf tournament until the pandemic happened and had to cancel it and move it to next year.
