David Leach, the head of UVic Writing, sat down with us on this, the final episode of All The Write Stuff. We read him his RateMyProf's, made him do an impression of himself, and got real. It's been a pleasure. Also, nostril lighting.

Luke Frymire is with us to talk about his role as Co-President of the UVic chapter of Effective Altruism. Luke gives us a brief rundown of how to know which charities are the right fit for your donations and discuses the controversy surrounding a recent EA event. Master of the mountain bike video, Scott Secco drops by to talk about his recent trip to Japan to work on a video for GoPro and his involvement with the Writ 420 VR Film, Knot for Sale. Later on, Scott helps James and Spencer get to the bottom of pressing issues behind what defines a champaign birthday, illegal tinting, writer fatigue, and many more.

On a dark and stormy night Kathryn Hall stops by to discuss her new job with This Side of West and her new fan-site Konnorsgreatideas.tumblr.com but it doesn’t take long for the feuds to start flying. James calls out poetry, Kathryn calls out Hugo Wong, and Spencer puts Lee Henderson on blast for his addiction to American politics. James and Spencer discuss their new fav show (Scream Queens) and their fav new show (Westworld). Then a discussion of the ethics of re-submitting past writing to workshop.

Now that we’re in fourth year, we’ve decided to take on a second year protege. Riley Smith joins us to talk workshop woes, famous Margarets, and the Uvic Writing Course Union. Later on, hear us quiz Riley on the ins and outs of the writing program to see if he’s ready for the perils of second year.
