Sometimes it’s hard to deal with the unfairness of the world we live in and it can be quite disheartening to see wasteful people have enough resource to keep wasting, while resourceful people don’t have enough resources to needed to carry out whatever they have been assigned to do. It doesn’t look like a balanced theory and it can be quite frustrating when you think about it. But, the question still remains; will you give up on your purpose before the reward of faithfulness come?

What is the value of your sacrifice to God and to humanity? Does your sacrifice have the ability to push aside the curtain of eternity in order for eternity to step into the affairs of humanity? Happy Eid al-Adha to the Muslim community all around the world even as you celebrate the obedience of Abraham. But do not forget that the obedience of Abraham is not as important right now as your own obedience to submit to the will of God. The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. By the power of the untamed tongue, nations have been destroyed, families broken, relationships wrecked beyond repair and also by the power of the tongue that is graced with goodness, life is also established on earth.   If life and death is in the power of the tongue, then we cannot undermine the fact that absolute care is needed concerning the words we speak.   Speak life and life will follow you.  

The greatest weapon of war is the sword of truth. And it's not a sword you use to pierce your enemy, but the one you use to pierce your own heart. It is the sword that divides between flesh and spirit, bones and marrow and which reveals the actual truth outside of what you considered truth. For in a world full of malicious and wicked tendencies, a right heart becomes a golden thing to have. You as a person, are the vision and the picture of the future God saw when He said "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness". And that you are here right now simply means that God saw you, pursued you till you became the actualization of His vision. And because you are a co-creator with God, you also have a vision from God, but the question now is this. What do you see? And what are you doing about the vision you were given? The truth is, even in the midst of all the shortcomings and supposed failures, you are still the most important of all God's creation even in their uncountable vastness and you are not forgotten. Isaiah 49:14-16, says But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,And my Lord has forgotten me.” “Can a woman forget her nursing child,And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget,Yet I will not forget you.See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me." Our world is faced with conflict of all sorts. But for me, Conflict is what happens when we think that our individual purposes, destinies and opinions are more important than that of others. The truth is, we all are connected somehow in this music called life. For we all are like musical notes on the grand piano of God and He needs every one of us to play the sweet songs of love, hope and beauty just as we need each other to live in love, harmony, brotherliness and the beauty found in our common unity. Yes, we are all different in our callings and purposes but we are all together in the grand scheme of things. So never undermine yourself, but also do not take for granted the fact that it is by the coming together of various musical notes that harmony is achieved. Stay focused, stay true, stay alive within the music of life and do not forget to let your light shine everywhere you go. One thing that you must understand is that to be broken is not a bad thing. It is the announcement that finally you are in the hands of the porter and that in a little while you will come out as a perfect golden vessel, in the hand of God, through whom the ointment of worship will be poured on the head of the Lord. So embrace your season of brokenness, for like Mary, it is preparing for you a place in and with God, in which, wherever the gospel of the Kingdom is spoken, your act of sacrifice and worship before God will be spoken of as a memorial to you. Mary has done her job of anointing the body of the Christ for burial and now He sits at the right hand of God, the Father. But the question now is this, what about you? We are entering the season of testing on the earth, in which everyone's hearts and love will be tested. It is the season of the seventh seal, the thirty minutes of silence in heaven and the pouring of the coal of fire from the altar before the throne of God on the earth for cleansing, purification, refining of the sons of God and also for the destruction of the works of darkness. Things around us may not really be 'perfect', the way we think perfection should look, but that should be fine, really, for the only thing that is perfect is that which is birthed by love, and nothing else. Meaning that a broken toy which comes from the hand of a loving father to his son, is perfect, even when others think otherwise.  Covid-19, which has been affecting the world for some months now, and the annular solar eclipse that happened today, are both dividing lines between the past age and the new age to come. They are like bridges between two dispensations, the old pre-Covid-19 dispensation and the new post-Covid-19 era. Things are going to move very fast from now on and, take it from me, nothing is going to remain the same.  This first episode of Anchored on Hope Podcast, tries to shed light on the reality of a post-Covid-19 era, and I am glad you joined us today.
