Walk & Talk - Getting Out With Agoraphobia

Our first Walk & Talk episode features a short audio which is aimed at helping sufferers of Agoraphobia take the first steps to stepping outside of their homes.
These walk and talk episodes will require you to put yourselves in situations which may result in heightened anxiety using a method called Exposure Therapy. The repetition of certain tasks to attempt to retrain your brain into realising that you are in no real danger.
Avoidance of situations which cause additional anxiety will only emphasise the strength of these fears. Through facing these fears in a controlled and regular manner, exposure therapy can help you retrain your brain to let go of phobias, anxiety attacks, and other forms of anxiety disorders.
