I'm NOT anti AI, in fact, I believe AI can be of immense benefit to us in the future. But the ethics of AI in its current state MUST be talked about, in order to steer this tech in the right direction. Leave ur thoughts in the comments below!

How to Practice REAL self-care
Episode in
Art n' Anything
Time for some tough love with your bestie. Many of us misunderstand self-care, and end up treating the symptoms instead of the root of our unhappiness. Like putting a bandaid on a missing foot. It will not be of much help. How to we practice real self-care? (Hint: is has nothing to do with spa day, mud mask, chocolate, shopping or other material things.)
But what is actual real self care?
In this episode, we discuss 7 different ways you can try to improve your life by taking care of yourself. This naturally involves making some changes if you are not satisfied with your current situation.
I've boiled it down to these 7 steps:
Improve your mental diet.
Learn to let people down.
Set clear boundaries and protect them.
Make replacements.
Look forward at your future, not back at your past.
Upgrade your library.
Stop self-rejecting.
In this episode, I go deep into what each of these points means and how they all fit together in the larger picture of life. Remember that everyone is different and might need other solutions then the ones i've listed in this podcast episode. Take care of yourself and enjoy!

Death of the Artist
Episode in
Art n' Anything
Would you own an artwork made by Hitler?
Death of the artist, derived from "Death of the Author", is a concept from mid-20th Century literary criticism; it holds that an author's intentions and biographical facts such as politics, religion and so on should hold no special weight in determining an interpretation of their writing. We usually understand this as meaning that a writer's views about their own work are no more or less valid than the interpretations of any reader. And so in our modern society:
Can we separate the art from the artist? And under what conditions?
Today we dip our toe into the pool of art history and its many interesting aspects, such as the concept of "Death of the artist". In this episode, we explore the concept by diving into the different scenarios in my life where I've been handed the dilemma of I choose to embrace the concept or not. The episode tackles themes of art history, philosophy, ethics and morals.
Stay tuned for more art history! Enjoy!

The rise of AI: is this the end of artists?
Episode in
Art n' Anything
Artificial intelligence (AI) just reached a milestone for history books that will change the world of art forever and I need to talk about it. The evolution of technology we invariably reach a crossroads where we must make a choice. Today's topic revolves around if humans will have an active role in the production of art in the future, and where we might be headed. The algorithm and code that drives the DALL-E 2 is fascinating and scary, will this ai become a tool to help artists develop and create more passionately around the world or will it replace us in a global market that constantly strives for quicker, better and cheaper results?
As an artist, this discussion is quite difficult as i immediately feel threatened by all the recent problems and possibilities that arrive with a shift in the digital art world. Will I be a part of it in the future? Let's discuss!

Today's theme is "Dealing with critique".
Everyone has experienced getting feedback, whether it is positive or negative, and it's not always easy. Especially when we put so much of ourselves into the work we do. Our difficulty in accepting criticism is hard to overcome, but it's a natural and helpful part of growing as an artist. In this episode, we explore the difference between criticism and critique. We also look at the mindset changes that will help you receive it positively without taking it personally. Constructive criticism and critique is meant to help you, not to tear you down.
