Ash cast

So am I really back? Honestly, who knows. A bit under a year ago I started a company with my friend Oliver. It’s been a crazy ride so far, but there’s much more to come for sure. Today I talk about all the stuff we been through so far, and the milestones we’ve hit. We have so much to learn, but we’re ready for it! 2B$ let’s goooo!

Working hard this summer. Up early and down to the smokery, then back home and get a quick shower and then to bed. Day after day, and I love it! I'm updating ya'll about what is going on and what I'm doing. Also I really like working with food, and I'm trying to figure out if it's something I want to be working with. What's the differences between Motivation, Inspiration & Disciplin? Who is Marco Pierre White? and btw can i borrow half a million? All this and more :)

I'm joined today by my coworker & new friend, Philippe Manane. I returned back home to my island a few days ago and have now started working at out smokery. I met Philippe when i returned home as he has started working with us.  We talk about his background and why he has decided to come work on an island, What is our view on alcohol, partying and dancing! Philippe tells a scary story and we get attacked by a mosquito. All this and more!

Finally got my sh*t together and got to record another podcast! This is the start of season 2, vol 2, what ever you wanna call it. Life is happening and I'm talking a bit about how it's going and where I'm headed. Also I have a super funny/cringe letter I wrote for myself over a year ago that I'm reading in this episode. Yet another student here at EFC. Charlotte is from the Netherlands and is honestly always in a good mood! We actually prepared some topics before hand. We both have 3 siblings?? TikTok is taking over & why does Charlotte love making documentaries. Are men killing all men?! and what are we gonna do after EFC? Minimalism, consumerism, climate change, ASMR cracking fingers and Asger is going vegan!? All this and more in this episode of the Ashcast!

Adam is having the best year of his life at EFC! We keep it light in the beginning. What’s daily life at EFC like? Is working at MacD really that bad? and our amazingly dumb drunk / ex girlfriend stories! ' But through the episode we start getting to know Adam. We learn that he’s actually been struggling with self-isolation for 5 years and has managed to totally turn his life around! He has tried DJing, drumming, martial arts and is now doing what he loves the most. Filmmaking.

Sofus' is joining the podcast this time! We’re going on christmas break soon but we got a lot of stuff to finish before that. Asger is working on his 5-min documentary and winter depression is starting to hit a bit. We talk about Elon musk and his crazy goals, AI and the future! But also WALL-E, and why no one really cares about new inventions now-a-days. What is the meaning of life? and does it really have to be so deep? And wtf is The Line in Saudi Arabia? all this and more!

Norwegian Erlend is another great student here at EFC! He’s an incredible creative guy and has mutliple creative outlets! From cooking & music to acting & movies, Erlend belives that we should do what we love and try everything! We talk about his journey through music & how he started with classical and moved to jazz, and how he worked in a restaurant with long hours. Is the school system fucked? Why is buddhism awesome? How do you know if you are the 1 Quentin Tarantino out of a 1000? All this and more here today on the Ash cast!

Justin is the Anything-DJ guy here at EFC! We talk about his background as a DJ and his future in music, and how he got in to the industry with his mom being a DJ! We also touch on gender roles, toxic masculinity, what does it really mean to be a simp? Why you should never delete some music you made. And you have to keep going, even if you fuck up! What is the future of DJing? and how do you communicate your feelings when you’re too young? all this and more!

What a guy! Nicolai is that person that’ll casually ask you how you’re doing, and actually care what you answer. We talk about our journeys through education in different countries and how to balance ones personal and work life. How to deal with regret and how to be happy with the choices you have made, and ultimately how to learn from them. Are NFT’s bullshit? We should all skip small talk and go straight to what you’re biggest goals are in life, and remember to make your room look amazing!

The man who stopped by. Aleksander is a comedy genius even if he doesn’t know it himself. He was one of the first people in producing which must have been difficult, but he made it work! He used to be working as a carpenter, but he felt it wasn’t right. He tried to become a coder and a boxer instead, but he ended up in film, and plans to make a script for Conan O'brien. Should we have the death sentence? Was the universe created last thursday? and what is a couch boy?

On this episode of the Ash cast I’m joined by Nicolaj! He’s currently in screenwritting class and has a lot on his mind. We talk about his friendship / professional relationship with his old socialworker. How it was hard to balance, and how he’s learning to let go. Is true love real? How do we learn to move on? and how can we make sure to connect with another person without being too dependent on them? All this on the Ash cast with Nicolaj!

The man, the myth. Laurits is a crazy amazing guy! He’s in editing class and might consider himself a bit shy, but he has a lot more give than he might think himself! He has been working in a kindergarden and an elderhome and finished his EUX education before that. He has some ideas for spring projects and is gonna be working on them in the coming christmas break. Should we be able to have more than 2 roles in the spring projects? And why is it important to invest in family? All this and more in this episode of the Ash cast!

This episode takes a different turn than usually. Today I hangout and talk with Sophus Petersen about the idea of facing pain and change head on. Are most people weak? and what does that mean? Is there such a thing as a healthy addiction? and can we actually control anything in our life, or is every move we make just based on the world around us? Sophus has an extremely interesting view on all of this and more, and he is not afraid to say what he means.

Martin! This guy so freaking awesome. I accidentally deleted some recording from a podcast that I already did with him, But! He was up to do it again, so please welcome the super inspiring, film studying Matin Krøse.  We talk about love! and how to talk about it, both platonically and romantically. Jakob Ossmann, you guessed it, yet another student here at EFC! He's super chill and a guy that has a lot on his mind, almost like a poet. How do we make sure we don't fall from a high, and how do we get up when we've hit the bottom? Nojus Bendikas from Denmark but with his roots in Lithuania, is a young filmmaker studying here at EFC. He used to live in Greenland where he discovered his pation for the filmic arts, but was strongly adviced to be like his dad and become a doctor. But Nojus had other plans, and now he’s studying sound and acting at EFC. We have a lot of walk-in-guests in this one, and we ask the question that we’ve all been wondering at this point. Are we drinking too much?

Theis is yet another great student from EFC! He was on the camera course the previous semester and now he's studying screenwriting. We break the fourth wall and talk about what a bad host I am, how we feel like we wasted 3 years in school, drugs & laws, Theis and his connection to the film industry, we're naked?? And why do we behave differently around other people? who is the real you??!
