You can’t control life through excess. Real safety is presence. Simplicity. Peace. And if you’re anything like me, when you try to control stuff, you actually make it way more complicated. You think more, plan more, anticipate more problems. And then you end up stuck in this exhausting loop of trying to solve problems that don’t even exist yet. 💗 Relationships: Control ≠ Love Here’s something that recently hit me like a ton of bricks: I used to think I was holding people to a high standard… But really, I was just trying to control them. Like, I have really high standards for who I let in my close circle. And that’s valid—I don’t let people in easily. But once they’re in, I’ve had this pattern of micromanaging the connection. Like, if someone did something that didn’t align with my values, I’d call them out like, “That’s not who you are. We don’t do that here. If you don’t clean this up, we can’t be friends.” But what I realized is… that’s not love. That’s fear. That’s me trying to prevent pain by controlling other people. And that energy? It doesn’t make me feel more safe—it actually shuts down love. It disconnects me from presence. It blocks the magic. Now I’m practicing something different: loving people even when they’re messy. Holding space. Reflecting their highest self back to them without making it an ultimatum. That shift alone has been a game-changer. Here’s the day-by-day: 🌕 Monday: Let Go of Perfection The Moon’s in Virgo crossing the South Node. So yeah… We’re shedding. Shedding old patterns around needing to get it right. Shedding the version of us that only felt safe when we were micromanaging every detail. It’s about choosing peace over perfection. It’s about releasing the past. It’s about shedding a false sense of security through “doing”. So ask yourself: Where am I gripping? Where can I surrender more? ⚖️ Tuesday: Balance Is the New Ambition The Moon moves into Libra and immediately opposes Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Big “don’t force it” energy. Saturn wants structure, but Aries wants speed. You might feel pulled to charge ahead and fix things. But that’s not it. Instead, ask: How can I meet my needs? How can I come into balance between “doing” and “feeling”? And Pluto’s involved too, offering a chance to break free from control patterns, especially in relationships. Perfect day for a clearing conversation. One of my besties and I had one last Friday—it changed everything. We both realized we weren’t being our full selves around each other because of some intense confrontations the last 6 months. We were scared of being judged or abandoned. So we named it, cleared it, and promised to accept each other more. That’s the kind of healing available this week. 🌀 Wednesday–Thursday: The Emotional Pivot Midweek brings squares between the Moon in Libra and the Sun and Jupiter in Cancer. So if Tuesday brought a big convo or realization, Wednesday might feel like: “Okay… now how do I actually relate to this person or situation differently?” It’s a little awkward, a little new. You’re learning how to operate from this new place of truth instead of old patterns. Thursday might feel tender. The Moon opposes Chiron in Aries, so you could feel wobbly around identity and self-worth. And if someone says something that hurts… try this: Pause and say, “Ouch. That hurt my feelings.
