26: The Waiting is the Hardest Part

Whitney and Jesse are now counting the minutes until the baby decides to arrive. They have done everything on the "list" to promote labor, and the baby still is comfortably inside. 25: Exit Through The Gift Shop

The baby is full term! There are a lot of baby delivery anecdotes out there. Whitney and Jesse have now heard them all. With one week to go the entire family is on standby, just waiting for any phone call from us. But they are not just waiting for us to call. Oh no. They are calling instead. Whitney tells Jesse of the 3 signs she might be going into labor. But for now, we are just waiting.  Whitney and Jesse discuss the last minute checklist before delivery, and Whitney confronts the brutal facts behind pooping during labor.

Whitney has a cold :(. Jesse and Whitney discuss their last weekend getaway before the baby arrives. Speaking of vacations, Whitney's OB will be going out of town the week of her expected delivery. The baby is kicking, punching and grabbing. This makes Whitney grumpy.  Whitney discovers what a Mucus Plug is, and what it might signify.  Jesse brings you up to date on the latest Zika news. 22: Boobdah

Whitney and Jesse reminisce on the last 9 months of pregnancy, when the baby was once the size of a poppy seed. Now she is as large as a dozen bagels. Whitney and Jesse give an update on performing Infant CPR and what to do if your baby is choking. Jesse also mentions why you should deliver care first before you call 911. There is also a secret method to burping your baby on your knee. Whitney and Jesse also took a Childbirth class, and Jesse lets Whitney know why he missed the special Placenta Delivery Video. Contraction duration is timed from the beginning to the end of a single contraction. The contraction frequency is timed from the beginning of one contraction to the beginning of the next one.  Only 10% of women experience their water breaking.  We discuss the three stages of labor.
