Holiday season is among us and I know we're getting all excited about gift giving as well as getting together as a family to take 1 picture and sending it out as cards to everybody especially those far away friends and family. Relationships are ONE of the hardest jobs to work at. Yes, I said job, but it can be overcome with understanding, communication, and empathy. Some, you'll find don't seem to think they are in the wrong but you know you are definitely worthy of time and energy!

It's not ideal but it must be said. In relationships, it's work to keep steady but it takes TWO to build a strong foundation. But when ONE of you tests the water, fields, court -whatever euphemism you want to use- it hurts. Trust becomes small, and loyalty is questioned. I'm sorry you are going through this... Your decision is for YOU and YOU alone to be happier. Go with your gut; follow your heart.

You, being the Captain of that shit hole, has to pull themselves together and guide the crew to do anything and everything to keep from going over! Off days usually end with a nice glass of wine after you put your kids to bed, calmly, and nothing major happenes until... Your oldest decides it's a good idea to jump off a cabinet, horse kick the glass door, and cut his Achilles heel open! Next thing you know, you are racing to the ER, struggling to get stitches in a kid who is scared and thrashing, but manage to get out of this alive (metaphorically speaking.) It was bound to happen at some point; boy will be boys.

Remember, we are not perfect and our kids need us more than ever! Break toxic cycles; teach them to try and be on a good path through life. We all get upset but we can makeup and tomorrow is a new day from it all!

Please don't let the things, that give you disdain, pass you by without knowing what you have. Give every moment, even the bad, a chance to collect and keep what will be lost some day. Work hard and love harder, for we don't know what the future holds for each and every one of us!
