Because We Can't Go On A Trip

Stories matter. They shape us and change us and move us forward. But they take time. They can't be consumed like a snack. They must be sat in, lingered with, entered into, and shared again and again. Normally in June we travel all the way across the Atlantic ocean to enter into stories, to sit with the kids we sponsor, to hear them, to give them the space and the voice to share their heart and their wisdom, but this year we can't travel. So we're taking time to re-enter those stories by devoting several hours to the creation of a podcast miniseries: Because We Can't Go On A Trip. In it, Ben and I plunge into the intersection of Kenyan and American stories which takes place every year at our Hope Venture Camp in Kenya.
