Published on 19 Mar 2018. We read a lot about entrepreneurs who are building SaaS companies and Ethan is someone who said, “I’m going to jump in and try it out.”
Ethan Sigmon is the founder of SocialInsight.io, a software that helps you manage your Instagram marketing.
I want to talk to him about what it was like to become a first-time software entrepreneur. It wasn’t as easy as it seemed and it wasn’t a disaster either. It was a story that’s a lot more common and I want to learn from it.

He’s now growing a second podcast called The Jordan Harbinger Show. His goal with The Jordan Harbinger Show is for every episode to solve a problem for you or make you better in some way.

Published on 12 Mar 2018. You guys are going to recognize the business model today’s guest created. It’s not laughable the way it was when he started out. People in the U.S. raised millions for that idea, he did not. It had to be bootstrapped.
He built it from scratch and kept growing and growing and growing it. Bruce Jeffreys is the founder of GoGet, Australia’s first car-sharing service.
I’m so fascinated by this scrappy way that he and his cofounder built up the business.

Episode in
Best Startup Podcasts - 7 Episodes Per Week
Published on 27 Jan 2015. "Part of me wanted to prove that you can be a refugee from a war torn country, you can grow up in poverty, you can be surrounded by violence and suffer PTSD, but you can still beat it. You can change your brain, take control of your life, and change the trajectory. You don’t need anyone to hold your hand to do it."
Due tells her story of surviving refugee camps, growing up in inner city Philadelphia, her brother getting his arm broken in his first day in the first grade. She couldn't speak until she was seven years old when two things happened. 1) She suddenly blossomed academically. 2) Her parents needed her help to run their Vietnamese take-out after school.
So by the time she entered the elitist culture at Harvard College - she excelled in her studies but could not relate to other students. She had grown up in a Vietnamese/inner city culture.
The Harvard College psychiatrist wanted her to take drugs to deal with the stress that she (and so many other students) felt.
It was then that she began her journey to create another way, which allows each person to transform themselves.
From Harvard Due entered the work force, and then attended the Wharton School, courageously returned to Vietnam, against the counsel of her family and community, and then to Tibet.
Due developed a program, Calm Clarity to solve her own trauma, and now teaches it to school kids in inner city Philadelphia and to entrepreneurs as well to help them focus, with calmness and clarity. How you can reach a state of mind where you are centered, where you can create, think straight, collaborate, and bring out the best in yourselves and others. Her approach is physiological not mental.
Due Quach has taught thousands her Calm Clarity approach to meditation. Due's approach is authentic and relevant in that it brought her and so many others through challenging circumstances.
