Bopod Luaka Cast

For the next couple months we will be taking over David's monthly radio show at DavidByrne.com. For the first month, we are releasing a beautiful mix by Joakim, which was originally recorded at MoMA PS1 during the NY Art Book Fair in the fall of 2013, and intended as an introduction and tribute to William Onyeabor.

We think Paul Diddy who normally does our podcasts does a great job. And in talking to the folks at iTunes they tell us it would be a good thing if we posted podcasts more often. Problem is we only put out so many albums a year and we don't want anyone, us included, to take the little jewels that Paul does for granted. But luckily we have a solution, we just started working with a band called Javelin. We probably won't put an album out from them for quite some time but in the meantime they do these cassette mixes of their own music. Hence let us introduce Javelin:
