Are you being held accountable?
Episode in
Bryanston Bible Church
What do you do when you are not only in the darkness but when the darkness is in you?
Come into community, be accountable, and walk with your brothers and sisters in Christ so that they may be a light to help you see Jesus.
You are not alone when you belong to a community, so your sin affects not only you but the family of faith around you, but when your sin is exposed in community you are set free, and can walk in truth.
Don't let sin in your life isolate, capture and destroy you, let the light shine on you, exposing the darkness and setting you free.

Do you belong?
Episode in
Bryanston Bible Church
Throughout the Bible and throughout the example of the early church we can see that church membership is implied. It would be a foreign consent in the early church to come to faith and not be commented to a local church, a local body.
We see this in the metaphor of the body. (1 Cor 12:12-13)As Christians, we are not isolated or independent. We belong to a body of people, set apart for God, each of us having a necessary function. If one part of the body suffers we all suffer.
We bare each other's burdens, carrying one another and making each other's lives richer.
Are you apart of a church family?
33:52
Church is Fundamental
Episode in
Bryanston Bible Church
Are you longing for a place to BELONG?
How do you view the church? Is it an add-on to your life or is it something fundamentally necessary to your faith?
As Christians, we are defined by Love, the way we love the people around us, and in that, we receive the love of the Lord. We express love as we do life together.
We can not take our walk with God lightly, and church is essential to our walk with Christ. We need church so we can love one another, do life together, and share in our communal identity.

God prevails over our self-preservation & privileges
Episode in
Bryanston Bible Church
Privilege is a topic we need to approach with spiritual maturity and insight.
Knowing that in some way we all have some privileged, through God's common grace. What truly matters is not how much or little privilege you have, but what you are doing with what you do have, in the eyes of God.
We as fallen humans look to prioritise ourselves with the privileges we have, but rather with our privilege let us maximise the significance and impact of God's glory in and through our lives.
Beware of squandering your privilege through self-preservation

God's Providence Prevails
Episode in
Bryanston Bible Church
God's providence prevails despite our brokenness and depravity.
We all have power over someone, and this power is easily weaponised!
We see just how power is used in the book of Esther, and in our world today. We can be potent in status but impotent in Character, like King Xerxes, whose power is used by others to benefit their own genders.
We are reminded, however, that God has the ultimate power, and that His providence prevails!
We need to surrender to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and to the sanctifying grace of the Holy Spirit!
