IV. 4th Instalment - Connections By Chance; Close By Choice: AJ Paama

Whether running it straight against life, taking big hits from it, or simply carrying the weight of the world on one's shoulders, busted shoulders are a testament to embracing both pressure and opportunity. This is, Busted Shoulders. The fourth instalment brings a much-needed interim to the string of interviews that have taken place. With an expected shift in commitments on the horizon, I thought to post-up this impromptu ting here to suffice. Much of the spiel pertains to the experience of meeting people by chance, to then going on to form lifelong connections with them. You may find this relatable in some respects. I also give the notion of 'divine intervention' a rapid glance, and an occurrence that took place whilst I was in Ōtepoti (Dunedin) where such absolutely realised its presence. III. 3rd Instalment - A Godsend for Kingsmen: Chanse Peita

Whether running it straight against life, taking big hits from it, or simply carrying the weight of the world on one's shoulders, busted shoulders are a testament to embracing both pressure and opportunity. This is, Busted Shoulders. This podcast instalment welcomes another one of the ilkays, Chanse Peita. We first met in 2018 as head prefects of our respective high schools at the time. Crazy to think the next time we would see each other 5 and a bit years later, we would be hopping on the M-I-C. In this instalment, we navigate a multiplicity of aspects of Chanse’s life - shifting from the Far North to the Deep South, post-college life, and the role that Māori identity has played in who he is and who he aspires to be. II. 2nd Instalment - Ōtepoti bred, Olympia bound: Hōhepa Horlock

Whether running it straight against life, taking big hits from it, or simply carrying the weight of the world on one's shoulders, busted shoulders are a testament to embracing both pressure and opportunity. This is, Busted Shoulders. In this instalment of the podcast, I am joined by none other than the ilkay himself, Hōhepa Horlock. We hopped on the M-I-C together and ran up a sesh while I was down Ōtepoti (Dunedin) ways. We hold space and reflect on the brother's journey in life, focusing particularly on what it means for him to be Māori, fatherhood aspirations, and the road to partaking in Mr. Olympia. No better person to kickstart this ting with than the man himself (Instagram - hohepa_horlock). Shoutout also to his podcast platform (Instagram - themanamentality). P.S.
