Health care disparities experienced by minority groups in the United States have contributed to a disproportionate impact of the pandemic in our communities . The Cabo Verdean American Medical Society and the Cape Verdean Nurses Association have organized this conversation to take a deeper look into the lack of trust in the health care system and how it impacts our attitudes towards vaccines and the issues related to lack of access.
