He came from a large family of 7 brothers and 5 sisters. He's a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Navy. In early 1997 after a trip with a friend in Afghanistan he launched Morningstar Development. That began a work to help the people and the nation of Afghanistan to put their lives back together. It's a non profit, NGO, that's privately funded.  20 years at Morningstar shaped his leadership mantra of bring order out of chaos he sensed a new season approaching in 2015.
