When King Sisyphus captures Hades' sister Celesta, Xena and Gabrielle must free her before mankind is doomed to eternal suffering.

Xena employs stealthy maneuvers to protect an infant who an oracle claims will one day usurp a king's throne.

Gabrielle is kidnapped to become the bride of Morpheus, the god of dream, so Xena has to go through her Dreamscape Passage to save her friend.
