It's easy for us to praise God during the good times, but what happens when God doesn't come through for us in the way we think He should? What happens when our healing hasn't yet happened? What happens when that relationship hasn't yet been restored? Is it all going the wrong way, or is it actually the exact way God has ordained it to go? Could it be that God is more concerned about our holiness than our healing? Could it be that the only way to healing is through sanctification and holiness? Modern theologians and christians like to state that Eve "usurped" her role as a woman and wife when it comes to the serpent and the fruit. But the reality is that we don't actually know what the Bible says. Coincidentally, Eve also found herself in that situation when the serpent questioned her, "Did God REALLY say that?" And it begs the question, do we really know what the Bible says in general?
