What we feed our eyes will eventually rule our hearts. This week, we go over stewarding our eyes, and practical ways to do that.

Praying is an important part to our faith. This week Pastor Eric goes through stewarding our faith in action.

If you are saved, you have a new eternal trajectory in Christ. As a result, Colossians 3 directs us to “set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits...and put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you.” Setting our sights on Christ and heaven doesn’t mean we stop being effective for God‘s Kingdom here on earth. But our focus on heaven helps frame this life with an eternal perspective. However, there are distractions in this life that can hinder our ability to fulfill God‘s purpose for us. In this message, we are identify some of those hindrances and how to keep our focus in the right eternal direction.

No matter who you are and what your background is, you get the same amount of time as everyone else. 86,400 seconds daily. If we are to be mature followers of Christ, it will be impact how we conduct and steward our time.

Gifting is what God gives us, but talent is what we do with what we’ve been given! What have we done with what we have been given? The Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25 tells us that God takes this question very seriously. Most like the benefits of talent, but they don’t often like the hard work and responsibility to develop that talent. God wants a return on His investment in our lives. This requires more than just loving God. Whether a homemaker who has been children to steward, or an auto mechanic with gifting to work on cars, we must do all we can to use our talent to serve others and for the glory of God.

As we launch into fall, as a church, we reflected on what our mission and purpose is, and what we want to focus on, going into FALL 2019!

As a church and a people of God, we can either follow voices of condemnation, comparison or pride, or we can be a new creation, and be led by the Holy Spirit and His signs and wonders following, just like the New Testament Church!

In the New Testament, one of the most common way the apostles and leaders referred to themselves and other believers was “servants.” Servanthood is God’s call for every believer; it is the way God does His work on earth; it is what leads us to spiritual growth and it is the purpose of Spiritual Gifts! This Sunday, Pastor Vadim speaks on the key influences that shape who we are today. He focuses on our friendships, our community, and the unity between us all.

When Jesus first called His followers, He told them He would teach them how to “fish” for people. Then He told them He would give them His Holy Spirit to have the power to share His message of Good News about God’s love and forgiveness for those who repent from their sin and turn to God for salvation. In the Book of Acts, we see many examples of the Holy Spirit MAKING opportunities for His followers to share the Gospel, and His followers learning to boldly TAKE those opportunities. For us today, the Holy Spirit desires to reach other people through us with the power of the Gospel. It is up to us to take those opportunities.
