How do we stop Jihadis from infiltrating our prisons?
Episode in
Clips of the Day
As of April 2016, American prisons currently hold 443 convicted terrorists, far more than the 89 men who remained imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay. The most notorious terrorists are being held in the maximum security sections of just a few federal prisons. But many others, serving lesser sentences for crimes like financing attacks or bomb hoaxes, are at facilities across the country.
Speaking earlier on The Jon Gaunt Show, Patrick T Dunleavy the author and former Deputy Inspector General of the Criminal Intelligence Unity at New York State Department of Correctional Services argued for a tougher line on Jihadi radicalisation in US prisons.

Birmingham Mail Editor squirms over Morris dancer "racism" row!
Episode in
Clips of the Day
Morris dancing is a great British tradition, but is it now under threat from the professional offence police? A group of Morris dancers from the Alvechurch group were heckled and harassed by locals in Birmingham, who claimed their use of black face paint was racist. Blacking up has a disputed origin in the Morris tradition, but defenders argue it comes from poachers in the sixteenth century hiding their identity.
Rumours have spread that those who disrupted the dancers were mostly Muslim. Speaking earlier on The Jon Gaunt Show, Editor of the Birmingham Mail and the Birmingham Post Mark Reeves claimed he knew nothing about these rumours, and denied that the incident was embarrassing for Birmingham.

US cartoonist Ben Garrison talks Trump and alt-right!
Episode in
Clips of the Day
Was 2016 the year of the little guy standing up to the elites? First, in June, Brexit delivered a sucker punch to the media and political establishment, with the people of Britain voting by 52% to 48% to leave the undemocratic EU. Then in November we had the election of Donald Trump, a populist and anti-establishment candidate who’s promised to “drain the swamp” of Washington DC.
These victories have at least partly been credited to the rise of the “alt-right”, the so-called alternative right, which has grown online through blogs, social media and memes, challenging the orthodoxies of political correctness, globalism and multiculturalism.
Ben Garrison would not describe himself as alt-right, but he has certainly been co-opted as a figurehead by many in the movement. A libertarian cartoonist and fine artist, Ben is best known for creating illustrations about United States political corruption and various conspiracy theories, but he’s also covered other global stories like Brexit in his work.
Speaking on The Jon Gaunt Show on Talk2MeRadio live from his home in Montana, Ben Garrison spoke about his work, how he got famous without using the controlled media, and what his hopes are from President Trump. This is a must-listen!

Simon Jenkins on why "Pale, Stale Males" are the last group you can discriminate against!
Episode in
Clips of the Day
Simon Jenkins' piece in The Guardian entitled "Pale, stale males are the last group it's OK to vilify" has divided opinion. This week former BBC Director General Greg Dyke called the organisation “hideously white”, whilst Andrew Lloyd Webber condemned a “diversity crisis” in British theatre.
It seems like every week there is another piece attacking older white men for everything, including Brexit and the rise of Donald Trump. Speaking earlier on The Jon Gaunt Show on Talk2MeRadio, author, columnist and newspaper editor Simon Jenkins gave his perspective.

Owner of "Really British" shop Chris Ostwald on why he's been called a racist!
Episode in
Clips of the Day
A shopkeeper has been branded 'racist' after opening a store that celebrates being British. Chris Ostwald, 54, was shocked when his 'Really British' shop became the centre of a racism storm after it opened in Muswell Hill, north London.
The shop sells nostalgic British goods - but instead of creating national pride, it has caused a furore. Locals were furious with the businessman's patriotic message and he has suffered such an onslaught of criticism that he was forced to take down his Union flags.
Many of his critics, in the largely pro-Remain borough of Haringey, have accused him of being insensitive during a period of heightened cultural tension.
Speaking earlier on The Jon Gaunt Show on Talk2MeRadio, Chris Ostwald dismissed the row and said business is booming with new customers looking for a slice of British nostalgia in cosmopolitan London!
