River is also a documentary film maker, filming shows for Discovery Channel, History Channel, Animal Planet, and more. He is the maker of the 2019 documentary 'The Volunteers' where he documented his time with the YPG's first ever medical unit during the bloody battle of Manbij. Join us as we sit back and reflect with one of Firat's closest friends from the war.
