Paul was an example of a man who truly lived for Christ. His only dilemma in life was whether to live or die. To live meant to serve Jesus Christ, and to die meant to be with Christ. His trouble and critics did not matter. The only thing that mattered was the furtherance of the gospel. Join us as Pastor Duane Harney teaches from Philippians 1:21-26 in his message titled "A Strait Betwixt Two."

In Philippians 1:19-26, we learn that Paul’s desire was to glorify Christ. Is it your desire to glorify Christ as it was Paul’s? We glorify Him by our attitudes, our words, our behavior, and what we do in these bodies. We either exalt Christ or we bring Him shame. 

John James, co-founder and former lead singer of the Newsboys, joins us to deliver the message and challenge us in our faith.

In part two of Pastor Duane's message "The Joyful Prisoner," we learn that not only did Paul maintain joy while chained to a prison guard, but he also had joy when he learned the news that some were filled with envy creating strife and contention. He didn't lose his joy because he lived to see the name of Christ proclaimed even if it cost him.

In the Book of Philippians, we read that Paul was a joyful prisoner. Joy and prison would normally be seen as an oxymoron, but Paul chose to "kiss the chains" and view himself as a prisoner of Jesus Christ. He chose to trust in God's plan for him, and he believed that God would bring good out of his situation.
