This is the first episode of a series I’m starting titled What’s Your Story, where I discuss with guests I invite the intriguing and diverse journeys they’ve travelled while pursuing Christ. It can be hard for us as young people to discover our identities and stand for what we believe in. But it’s not impossible. Here are some words of encouragement to challenge you dare to be different.

Getting personal about everything that’s going on. How are you reacting to what you’re seeing and hearing on social media?

We’re not ordinary people as Christians. We’ve been given the authority through Christ to rise above the traps of the enemy! Believe it when we’re told no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper! It’s high time we started to walk with that confidence.

Is your identity in Christ evident enough? Are you living as the light you’re called to be? Christ has called us to be the light in this carnal society we live in and we must diligently accomplish this task and influence those around us to know and search for Christ, not the world blowing out our candles!
