Project Manager Adrien discusses the shifts in street art, and the lack of subversive approaches in the artistic community. He suggests the mainstream movement is homogenising and instrumentalising street art, and that are shouldn't necessarily be consensual. It should question things. Project Manager Adrien explains his fear that cultural development projects such as Jardins Gamelin and tourism will push marginalised people further away from the downtown area. He also acknowldges how they have made the spaces nicer. Adrien also argues that cultural investment needs to be distributed around the city rather than concentrated, but sees positives in the fact something is happening.
