Neither of us is normally super excited about deleted scenes, because they’re usually deleted for a reason. In the last pre-credits minute, we get a bit of a post-performance epilogue that calls back to the beginning of the movie. James and Erin have different memories about what kind of terrain it takes place on and the credits begin to roll which brings us to the person you've all been waiting to see. It’s a light minute, not a whole lot happens, but we’re still confused about exactly what capacity Lucy was planning to participate in this music audition thing, because people keep talking about her coming to the audition but after the karaoke situation where Mimi blanked and Lucy took over, it’s rather unclear who is actually going to be doing the auditioning. Kit goes to visit Mimi, and somehow Mimi ends up comforting Kit—not because Kit expects or asks for it, but because Mimi is a really, really good friend and person and she recognizes that Kit is hurting, even as she herself is also hurting. Mimi reads a magazine, and James tells us all about it—it’s got a band on the cover that *isn’t* N*SYNC! Erin gets confused about which hot guy whose name start with “Ty” was in the “Toxic” video, and we try to track down an article from the magazine that Erin decides she really wants to read.
