Are you paying attention to the signs in your life?

Linda M. Potter’s professional resume reads like a Wikipedia entry for Attention Deficit Disorder. She has had more jobs than hair colors and filled out more aptitude forms than tax returns, yet her brand of inspired, light-hearted humor is exactly what the doctor ordered for today’s times. Finding a career direction and a meaningful life path included a series of hits, misses, and detours. Just a week after receiving her BA degree, Potter received her Mrs. because she feared she might “wander the rest of her days, single and alone.”  Total first marriage detour / delay time: 21 years. Her first choice, a career as a comedian, was wiped out a few years later when she instead chose to become a college instructor after earning her MA degree in Theatre Arts. ? The next three decades were filled with many signs from God for Potter, including numerous career changes, an early mid-life crises (her own), some skinned knees by her own three children, and lots of humor in between it all. A wife, mother, and now grandmother, she has remained in Fort Collins, Colorado, since graduate school. Potter, a confirmed sign tracker and interpreter for years says: “Those six Yield signs you drive by may be a call to let go, let God.  That Help Wanted: Inquire Within notice at the local coffee shop could be guiding you to do a little ‘inside’ work, and the Speed Limit Ahead sign might be a reminder that we’re the ones setting limits in a world of unlimited possibility.”   ?   Potter’s commentary on life (aka her rants at God from a personal, backyard hot tub) is rolled into her first in a series of books, If Only God Would Give Me a Sign!   It is the every woman’s (and every man’s) guide to enlightenment and a fun “how to” on interpreting the signs, from the absolutely absurd to the most mundane.  Loyal fans love her digestible, comedic insights offered in her quirky, yet grounded messages on life’s meaning and the signs that offer responses to those challenges and questions. She knows from personal and professional experience what people need to hear to relate and laugh from deep inside. Visit Linda Potter’s site, as well as follow her on Twitter!
