In this episode, we invited Hafiz Jabbar a financial consultant who helps his clients grow and protect their wealth by providing them the best-suited investment and saving plans. For someone who has been in the volunteering scene since his youthful days who then continued to work as a Youth Development Officer, then to a Community Service Officer, and finally to a Social Development Officer, at a few mosques for the past decade, his decision to join the financial industry recently as a freelance consultant was quite a shocking news for many people. Zam and I decided to ask him about his job transition experience and we also had a few more burning questions to ask him regarding the concept of getting rich and how to stop the vicious cycle of living a low-quality life. Have you ever meet or heard someone comment on something bad but the way they speak is like totally beating around the bush as if trying desperately NOT to start an argument? I bet you have. This time around, we cater our podcast episode solely towards our Malay community as there were a few requests from our listeners that they are more comfortable and able to understand better listening to the Malay language. So, here it is! Topik podcast ini lebih kepada muhasabah diri dan suatu perkongsian secara peribadi mengenai bulan puasa yang tidak lama lagi akan berakhir. Sejak CB dijalankan, suasana Ramadan tidak sama seperti dulu.  Kalau dulu kita sibuk dengan ibadah di masjid, buat kerja amal secara sukarela, berjalan-jalan di Bazaar ramadan dan ke Angsana, kali ini kita terpaksa duduk diam-diam di rumah. Kalau dulu kita rasa ghairah dan seronok dengan kedatangan Eidul fitri kerana dapat berjumpa sanak saudara dan kawan-kawan lama, kali ini mungkin tidak. Kami berdua kongsi perasaan dan pengalaman kami mengenai hal ini dari sudut seorang yang bujang (trang tang tang..). Memang benar, kadang-kala rasa bagaikan masa berjalan begitu perlahan dan bosan yang amat sangat dan kadang-kala, alamak...zuhur danak abis sebab sibuk pulak tengok Youtube. With the recent Circuit Breaker in place tentatively until 5th May 2020, there will be no gatherings regardless of it being being for non-essential work, religious or wedding related activities. What if your wedding is set to be on the month of May or June? How will you and your partner decide for the event? What if you decide to continue as planned and the government decided to extend the Circuit Breaker? One thing that is clear, the situation is not within our control for the time being. But does that mean we do not need to prepare for what's coming? Tune it as we share our perspective about this matter.

Just like any other human, Zaid’s emotions resembles a series of roller coaster rides. There are times when he can get very emotional during certain parts of the year. His close friends would eventually find out if it's that “Emo” time of the year again when he starts to listen to sad songs and he would sing them aloud ignoring the fact that others are annoyed by his out-of-pitch voice. On to the next segment about Sincerity. We share our thoughts about the importance of having ikhlas (sincerity) as a Muslim. Does it count as sincere when we are expecting something in return, even if it is from God? In a family context, every one of us falls into this trap whereby we do things for our family without the right intention. Sometimes, it is because we have no choice. Sometimes, we just want the best for our family members. Sometimes, we don't do anything at all because we don't see how it will benefit us.  Zaid shares the story of two brothers who were sent by their father to join a Youth Support Group with the intention to make them a better Muslim. Sadly, things didn't go the way the father expected it to be. Tune in to find out more!

From our experience serving the nation to serving the community, we discuss about the issues regarding SAF soldiers who were treated badly by their commanders who then became a commander who treats their trainees the same way, how the low income family struggles to get out of their troubled state from generations to generations, and children growing up with obese or chronically unwell parents eventually go through the same fate as them. Will the vicious cycle ever end?
