Tonight we went totally off-script and sat down for a more casual chat about our holiday plans, Youtubers, and our fascination with TikTok. Thank you for a great semester and we will see you in the New Year!

Today we're talking body...specifically cultural understandings of them. We discuss Cassey Ho's controversial video, "Women Try Guessing Each Other's Weight | A Social Experiment" and then deep dive into influencer culture's effect on our perceptions of "acceptable" and "ideal" bodies.  We don't discuss anyone's specific statistics. This is mostly a conversation about the culture surrounding body image. That said, know yourself and don't listen if you feel that it might be harmful for you. This is our first podcast! We're happy you found it. The audio is a little wonky and we are super giggly, but we are aware and actively working on it. It would be no fun if there were nothing to improve. In this episode, we dive into Grace's memories of our early friendship and learn that Ashley has no memories of us. After touring our friendship evolution, we discuss the beginnings of this podcast, including its design and name.
